Cycles roll over on their own
At cycle close, anything not done moves to the next cycle with its history, its position in priority order and its links intact. The cycle report records exactly what moved, so carryover became a number you can watch instead of a feeling.

Public read-only roadmap
Any project view can be published at a stable URL you can hand a customer. It shows project names, status and target cycle — never issue titles, comments or people.

GitLab, and deploy events
GitLab joins GitHub as a first-class code host, and deployment webhooks now mark what actually reached production rather than what merged.

Command bar rewrite
The command bar now reaches every action in the app, not just navigation, and the whole client runs against a local cache so it answers before the network does.

Everything unassigned lands in one queue with a keyboard-only path through it.

Removed: custom workflow states
We removed the ability to define arbitrary workflow states. Teams that used them had, on average, eleven states and a board nobody trusted. Statuses are now fixed at Backlog, Todo, In Progress, In Review, Done and Cancelled.
- Existing custom states were mapped on migration and the mapping is in each workspace's audit log
